Emily and Matt's Wedding

Our final wedding of 2011 was that of Emily and Matt at Chilston Park Hotel. We met with Emily and her Grandmother and had a really lovely chat about what she was after for her wedding flowers and the look she wanted for her day.

For Emily's bouquet we created an informal hand tied bouquet of large Calla Lilies, Roses and Freesias with bear grass loops and strands that were threaded with pearls and the bouquet was finished with a folded Aspidistra leaf collar.

Emily had three Bridesmaids, one adult and two children and we created hand tied bouquets of cream Roses with small leafed Pittosporum and bear grass.

For Matt we created a small Calla Lily buttonhole with bear grass threaded with pearls and for the Groomsmen we created Rose buttonholes. The ladies wore corsages of Roses and Freesias affixed with magnets.

We delivered the bridal party flowers to the family home then headed over to Chilston Park to set up the reception with the floral arrangements.

Outside the double doors to the reception we dressed two Bay trees with cream fabric and co ordinating green sashes and used fairy lights in the head of the tree to add twinkling lights.

The top table had a sophisticated long and low using Avalanche Roses and folded Aspidistra leaves.

The guest tables had tall flute vases seated on large circular mirror plates. The vases had a crackle ice effect with lights in the base. We created hand tied arrangements of Calla Lilies with Steel Grass and folded Aspidistra collars.

We also created thank you bouquets for the Mum's including Roses and Freesia.

Congratulations to Emily and Matt!
