Amy and Sam's Wedding

What a beautiful weekend for a wedding! Amy and Sam could not have wished for a better day with the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky!

For most weddings we start with meeting the Bride and either the groom to be or the mother of the bride but we actually met with Amy's dad who had popped into the shop for a bouquet and was so pleased with the bouquet that was made for him he decided to pass on our details to Amy and his wife who called the next day to book a consultation!

Amy and Sam booked Bradbourne House for their wedding reception and it looked stunning in the sunshine with all the flowers in place on the tables.

The colour scheme for the wedding was dark purple but Amy wanted an accent colour of bright yellow included which really made the arrangements pop!

Amy chose a neat teardrop bouquet to compliment her dress and we used Avalanche Roses, ivory Calla Lilies, dark purple Lisianthus and dark purple Veronica with bright yellow Freesia and a hint of lime green Bupleurum

Amy had two adult Bridesmaids and one child Bridesmaid who all carried hand tied bouquets of Avalanche Roses, Lisianthus and Freesia with Bupleurum.

Sam wore an Avalanche Rose buttonhole with dark purple Lisianthus.

The groomsmen wore Avalanche Rose buttonholes

The mother of the Bride wore a corsage of ivory spray Roses and ivory Freesia and the mother of the groom wore a corsage of ivory Freesia and ivory Lisianthus

At Bradbourne we decorated the entrance porch with our Bay trees with Avalanche Rose heads within the head of the tree and finished with purple ribbon bows.

The wood panelled hallway was decorated with a large front facing arrangement on the main table.

The top table was dressed with a long and low arrangement and the guest tables were dressed with tall flute vase arrangements seated on our large mirror plates.

We hope Amy and Sam had a wonderful day as we really enjoyed creating the flowers for their wedding!
