Kim and Paul's Wedding

We work with many brides and grooms and everyone is different which is why we love every single one.

Kim and Paul chose the huge Norman church at Wrotham for their ceremony and The Plough at Leigh for their reception. Kim and Paul came to see us with an idea of what they would like and we turned it into reality for them.

For Kim's bouquet she chose a country style hand tied bouquet. We used vintage pink Roses, lilac Freesia, Echinops, creamy green Lisianthus and lots of peachy cream Hypericum berries. We finished the bouquet with raffia to add to the country feel.

For Kim's Bridesmaids, she chose smaller versions of her bouquet again finished with raffia handles.

For Kim's two flower girls we added raffia bows to the vintage pink Roses to act as a wand.

Paul's buttonhole was slightly different to the groomsmen as we added a touch of Hypericum and Echinops to the vintage pink Rose. The groomsmen had single Rose buttonholes.

For the ladies we created creamy green Lisianthus and cream Freesia corsages.

At St Georges in Wrotham we placed a pedestal arrangement in the entrance foyer to welcome guests to the ceremony.

For the pew ends, Kim fell in love with trailing ivy pew ends we created for a previous wedding and she chose them for her wedding. We finished the pew ends with raffia bows.

For the front two pews Kim wanted to make them a little different and so she chose mini hand tied bouquets to match the rest of the wedding flowers.

After setting up the church we headed off to The Plough at Leigh to set the tables up with flowers for the wedding breakfast. Kim and Paul wanted a very informal country look and so they collected lots of jam jars and wine bottles for us to arrange summery flowers in them. We first added jam jars of flowers to the table plan area.

We then placed the wine bottles and jam jars on the tables. We also added raffia bows to the jam jars and Kim had made beaded hearts for the necks of the wine bottles.

We hope Kim and Paul had a lovely day and are enjoying their honeymoon in Peru!
