Laura and Ray's Wedding
This post is dedicated to the wedding of Laura and Ray, a lovely couple who we got to know so well this year. Laura and Ray wed in September at St Peter's Church, Southborough and enjoyed their reception at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells.
Laura had done lots of research into what style of flowers she wanted for her wedding and provided us with lots of inspiration. The colour scheme was based around her bridesmaids' dresses which were a gorgeous deep purple and we suggested two shades of pink to compliment the colour and make the flowers pop. Laura and Ray had spent a lot of time choosing their invitations and they were also an inspiration for the day be incorporating pearls and diamantes to the bridal party flowers.
Laura chose a large hand tied bouquet full of Roses, Calla Lilies, Freesia and dark purple Lisianthus with bear grass loops and lots of sprays of diamantes scattered throughout. We finished the bouquet with ivory ribbon and a band of deep purple ribbon and a stunning brooch Laura had found that matched her theme perfectly!

For Laura's three bridesmaids we created hand tied bouquets of scrummy Hydrangea, Calla Lilies and Roses and finished them with ivory ribbon handles with pearl detailing. When they were put up against the dresses they looked great!

For Ray, we made a single Calla Lily buttonhole with dark purple Lisianthus and added sprays of diamantes to tie in with Laura's bouquet.

For Ray's groomsmen we created Deep Water Rose buttonholes with pearls threaded onto beargrass loops.

For the Mum's we made corsages of Lisianthus and Freesia and for the Nan's we created Rose corsages with Freesia.

We also individually wired Rose buds for the bridesmaids hair.

For the ceremony we provided two pedestal arrangements to flank Laura and Ray when they were taking their vows. We also dressed the altar and pulpit with long and low arrangements. We used deep pink Lilies, Lisianthus, Deep Water and Avalanche Roses with lots of foliages.

For their reception, Laura and Ray wanted the tables in the Royal Suite to have a selection of tall and low arrangements.
We used our clear glass martini vases with dark purple fabric liners and filled them with Lilies and Roses and Lisianthus and to add extra height we used Steel Grass to tower above them. For the low arrangements we filled clear glass cylinder vases with Lilies, Roses and Lisianthus.
