Laura and Phil's Wedding

Laura and Phil wanted a winter white wedding and to get married by candlelight. They chose the last weekend in December to get married at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells.

We met with Laura and her Mum after they saw our stand at a wedding fair and we talked through all of Laura and Phil's thoughts and ideas for their wedding.

Laura wanted the flowers to be whites and creams and for her bouquet she chose large headed Roses, smaller spray Roses and delicate Gypsophila. The hand tied bouquet was finished with cream satin ribbon and pearl detailing. We also wired Gypsophila florets for her hair.

For Laura's seven adult bridesmaids, we created wrist corsages using Roses and Gypsophila.

For Laura's two flower girls, we created gorgeous little bouquets of Gypsophila.

For Phil, a buttonhole to match Laura's bouquet was created with a large Rose and ivory Gypsophila. For the Best Man and the Dad's, single Rose buttonholes were made and for the groomsmen, buttonholes of pure Gypsophila were created.

For the Mum's we created corsages of spray Roses and for the Nan's we created corsages of Gypsophila all with magnets to attach.

For the ceremony, held in The Chandelier Restaurant, we added Rose petals to Laura's tealight holders that ran down the length of the aisle. To add to the lit ceremony theme, we added fairy lights to our two Bay Trees which stood either side of the Registrar's table.

The Royal Suite was the setting for the reception and Laura wanted to continue the candlelight theme and have minimal flower.

We set the tables with circular mirror plates with tealights and a trio of vintage silver votives with Roses and Gypsophila.

For the top table, Laura wanted to use her bouquet as the centrepiece, and so we added a circular fishbowl to the trio of flowers and tealights.

We hope Laura and Phil had a wonderful day and wish them all the best for the future!
