Alice and Ross' Wedding

We get to decorate lots of stunning venues for both wedding ceremonies and receptions and the wedding of Alice and Ross was certainly no exception!

Alice and Ross chose the stunning Lympne Castle for their wedding venue. Lympne Castle is tucked away making it such a special find for couples getting married. The theme for the day was based upon butterflies with the colour scheme of Cadbury purple and cream.

Alice wanted a traditional shower bouquet to compliment her dress and we recommended beautiful Vanda Orchids which luckily look just like butterflies and come in Cadbury purple! We created the bouquet with cream Roses and Calla Lilies along with the Vanda Orchids and dark green foliages.

Alice's adult bridesmaids were to wear cadbury purple dresses and we created compact hand tied bouquets of cream Roses topped with a single Vanda Orchid to continue the butterfly theme. THe bouquets were finished with cadbury purple ribbon handles and diamante detailing.

Alice's flower girl carried a smaller posy of cream Roses and to match her dress we finished the bouquet with ivory ribbon and diamante detailing.

Ross wore a cream Calla Lily buttonhole to tie in with Alice's bouquet and his groomsmen wore cream Rose buttonholes, all with diamante pins.

The Mum's wore delicate ivory Singapore Orchid corsages and the Nan's fragrant Freesia corsages.

At Lympne Castle, we decorated the Registrar's table with a long and low arrangement. Alice wanted to incorporate seasonal, scented flowers into the ceremony and reception flowers and wanted something quite different to the bridal party flowers. We used cream Roses amongst fragrant Narcissi and Stocks and cadbury purple Lisianthus and mauve Tulips.

The reception tables were a simpler affair with the mauve Tulips incorporated with fragrant Narcissi in a hand tied bouquet, finished with ivory ribbon and set in square cube vases on square mirror plates.

Alice had arranged for the Mum's to receive really bright and bold thank you bouquets at the time of the speeches.

Thank you Bouquets!
We hope Alice and Ross had a fantastic day and we wish them many congratulations!
